The Department of Biology, FMIPA UNP carries out Community Service in Nagari Tanjung Balik, X Koto Diatas District, Solok Regency.

Training on the use of coconut water to become Nata de Coco is an activity carried out in this service.

In this case, Mrs. Prof. Linda Advinda, M.Kes., Mrs. Dr. Irdawati, M.Sc. and Mrs. Elva Rahmi, S.Pd., were speakers and trainers in this matter.

Also participating in this activity was Prof. Dr. Syahrastani, M.Kes., Mentari Larashinda, S.TP., M.TP. and 2 students from the Biology Department, FMIPA UNP (Milka and Rada)
