Dear friends and colleagues, On behalf of the Steering Committee, I am pleased to welcome the 5th International Conference on Biology, Science and Education (ICoBioSE) which will be held on *26 October 2023* virtually at Padang State University, West Sumatra, Indonesia.

This conference was organized by the Department of Biology, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Padang State University.

This conference aims to provide an international platform for researchers, academics, students as well as industry professionals from around the world to present their research results in *Towards SDGs 2045 through Bio-Technology Studies and Learning-based Approaches and other related fields*.
