Padang - As a form of social care, the Biology Department Student Association (HMD) FMIPA UNP on Friday-Saturday (April 8-9 2023) carried out Biology Sharing activities. This sharing activity was carried out in the form of sharing free takjil for the children of the Ashhabil Rayyan Orphanage, the Aisyiyah Ampang prayer committee.

Head of HMD Biology, Arfan Yuza A, accompanied by administrators and students from the Department of Biology, was seen being involved in the Biology Sharing activity. According to Arfan Yuza A, the purpose of this activity is to establish friendly relations while sharing happiness in the holy month of Ramadan. This year's Biology sharing activity was carried out with the cooperation of all the Biology Department's academic community, starting from faculty staff, students, students and alumni.

The takjil packages that were distributed were part of the Campus Intellectual Product Business Development (PUPIK) which was developed at the Biology Laboratory. According to Muhammad Afif Taufiq, Head of the HMD Biology Public Service Division, more than 1,000 packages were distributed in the form of Nata de Coco drinks, jelly salads and fried foods. All products distributed were produced by students who are members of the PPUPIK team.

The administrators of the Ashhabil Rayyan Silvia Avent Azwar Orphanage and the Aisyiyah Ampang Orphanage Ibu Nurhayati, in her remarks, thanked the academic community of the Biology Department for their visit and assistance. Through this visit, it is hoped that the foster children will be able to feel the joy of Ramadan and at the same time be able to lighten the burden on the orphanage. Furthermore, Dezi Handayani, M.Sc, Head of the Biology Laboratory said that through this Biology Sharing activity it was also aimed to introduce PUPIK products to the public.
