Assalammualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuhu Alhamdulillah, Congratulations and Cheers to: Mayor of the Department of Biology, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences Department of Biology, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences Unp Syahrul Ramadhanil (Biology 2019) Passed as Participants of National Community Service Program, representing Padang State University Students Hopefully his achievements will continue to flow, Mr. Wali, and hopefully they can be imitated for the progress of the Department of Biology, FMIPA, Department of Biology, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences Unp And Yossi Fadillah Putri (TM Biology 2020) Student from the Department of Biology, FMIPA UNP who received the Global Undergraduate Exchange Program (Global UGRAD) Scholarship The Global Undergraduate Exchange Program (Global UGRAD) awards scholarships for one semester of non-degree academic study at a US college or university to a group of emerging student leaders. Global UGRAD is a program of the United States Department of State's Bureau of Education and Culture and aims to recruit participants from underrepresented backgrounds who have had no other opportunity to study in the United States. Successful applicants can expect in-depth exposure to US society, culture and academic institutions, as well as opportunities to enhance their professional skills. All participants will be enrolled in a full-time, non-degree, undergraduate course selected from the existing curriculum of their host institution. Participants will be required to take one 3-credit course of US studies to enhance their understanding of the United States. Participants will live in a campus residential facility with their American counterparts and will be required to participate in twenty hours of community service. There will also be virtual arrival orientation and live end-of-program workshops. Grant benefits include international travel, tuition fees, room and board, accident/illness insurance, monthly allowance, and funding for books.
