Eco-Enzyme from UNP Biology Thematic Community Service Program for Nagari
Agam–Thematic Real Work Lecture (KKN) students majoring in Biology, Padang State University (UNP) held a counseling on the manufacture of Eco-Enzyme in the context of implementing the KKN work program "Empowerment of Nagari in the Era of the Covid-19 Pandemic" on Thursday, January 27, 2022 at MDTA Al -Huda Jorong Baruah, Kanagarian Padang Tarok, Kec. Baso, Agam Regency.

Eco-Enzymes are the result of fermentation of organic kitchen waste, sugar (brown sugar, brown sugar or cane sugar), and water in a ratio of 3:1:10.

Yogi Saputra as the head of the KKN team said, "The reason we chose the Padang Tarok area as a place for KKN and a place for Eco-Enzyme counseling is because we want to empower the Padang Tarok village community to process organic waste into something useful in this case Eco-Enzyme. So for later application it can improve the community's economy as well, by making Eco-Enzyme it can save housewives' expenses.
