Tim Bonnert leads the Field Application Scientist team for QIAGEN Digital Insights at EMEA and APEC providing scientific support and training to customers implementing QIAGEN secondary analysis and tertiary interpretation solutions for NGS data.

Tim Bonnert is based in the UK and joined QIAGEN in 2011. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Cambridge and prior to his career at QIAGEN he had more than 12 years of pharmaceutical research experience in molecular biology, bioinformatics and biomarker discovery.

In this webinar, we will explore the application of the QIAGEN CLC Genomics Workbench to unravel the taxonomic profile of 16S OTUs from the soil microbiome, and demonstrate whole-genome metagenomic applications of the human gut microbiome.

The webinar will be moderated by one of the lecturers of the Department of Biology, FMIPA UNP, Fitra Arya Dwi Nugraha, M.Sc.
