Press Release 2021 National Biology Seminar 4 Universities Implementation of MBKM Department of Biology, FMIPA UNP in the form of a National Biology Seminar. Saturday, June 26, 2021, the Department of Biology, FMIPA UNP held a National Biology Seminar 2021. The seminar was opened by the Dean of FMIPA UNP, represented by Alizar, Ph.D (WD 1 FMIPA UNP). In his speech, he appreciated the activities carried out by the Biology Department, FMIPA UNP together with the Biology Study Program, FST UIN SYARIF HIDAYATULLAH, the Biology Study Program, FST UIN RADEN FATAH with the co-host of the Biology Department, State University of Malang. WD1 FMIPA UNP hopes that next year there will be more collaborations that can support the implementation of MBKM. At this activity, remarks were also delivered by the Dean of FST UIN SYARIF HIDAYATULLAH and FST UIN RADEN FATAH. In his remarks the chairman of the committee, Siska Alicia Farma, S.Pd., M.Biomed. said that this activity was a follow-up to the MoU on the Independent Study of Independent Campus (MBKM) with FMIPA UNP on December 14, 2020, in the form of a Credit Transfer between Biology Study Program FST UIN SYARIF HIDAYATULLAH, Biology Study Program FST UIN RADEN FATAH. Credit Transfer is done in Ethnobotany and Parasitology Courses. According to the lecturer in Ethnobotany (Dra. Des.M, Dr. Priyanti, M.Sc. and Ardian Khairiah, M.Sc.), 10 articles have been produced from project based learning, as well as 10 articles in the Parasitology course (with lecturers) supervisor Drs. Mades Fifendy, M. Biomed. and Narti Fitriana, M.Sc.). To accommodate the publications produced from this course, a National Biology Seminar was held with the theme of Integration of the Independent Learning Curriculum in producing science products based on local wisdom. This seminar was attended by 492 participants consisting of 262 presenters and 230 participants. Participants in this seminar came from universities throughout Indonesia (lecturers and students, researchers and teachers). This seminar presents the speaker Prof. Dr. Eko Baroto Walujo (LIPI), Prof. Dr. Lily Surayya Eka Putri, M.Env.Stud (UIN Syarif Hidayatullah), Dr. Irham Falahudin, M.Si (UIN Raden Fatah) and Dr.FitriArsih, S.Si., M.Pd (State University of Padang). Based on the feedback provided by the committee, it is known that the participants have high hopes that this activity can continue in the coming year with a wider scope.
